Everyday summer outfits for moms!

When I became a mom in 2019, I believed I had to reinvent my wardrobe. While it was true my closet needed a good cleaning, I also began thinking I couldn’t wear certain things anymore. I instantly became aware of the clothes that showed my belly or felt too short even when they were appropriate.
Shopping in today’s world, it is increasingly difficult to find decently priced clothing that isn’t cropped or ripped. And while I’m all for this style, I noticed being a young mom myself, I get enough unwanted stares in public how it is. Wearing a crop top and short, shorts unfortunately feels like adding more fuel to the fire.

My end goal of this, is to help you build a comfortable, everyday wardrobe tailored just for you.

The Everyday Fit:

These outfits are reliable, comfortable, and works in a pinch. When you think of a these outfits, I recommend thinking of what you already wear. Think of what colors and materials you are drawn to, or what specific style you are leaning towards. In this blog we focus on simple outfits, that can be built up to match your perfect style!

This outfit is simple, easy to put together and will not cost you a pretty penny. For the tank tops I highly recommend finding a bundle of 4-5 tank tops for $30-40. Amazon will likely be your best bet for tank top bundles.

The best way to find the perfect fit for you, is to get your measurements done. If you have trouble finding the right sizes or material online, I would suggest making the trip to your closet shopping center. This way you are ensured what you are paying for is exactly what you want.

This outfit is one of my favorites! This outfit can be changed slightly and resemble a whole different outfit. Change the white denim to black biker shorts, or try swapping the brown t-shirt with your favorite color t-shirt. Another fun way to spice this outfit up is finding a pair of unique sneakers to pair with it!

This outfit is easy, and super cute! The lucky thing about owning a pair of white flowing pants, is that it can match with just about anything. If this boho look isn’t for you, switch out the yellow tank with a color that suits you better. A neutral color can help achieve a more elegant look. Switching out the jewelry for delicate hoops and adding sandals will create a timeless, everyday outfit.

This look is inspired for moms that want to look effortlessly put together. The American flag sweater can easily be swapped for a solid neutral color, making it perfect to wear again without feeling like you just wore it a couple of weeks ago. If you find yourself weary about wearing white shorts, like myself, I’d recommend going with a black or brown pair instead.

This look is perfect for moms on the go! I love this outfit because it can be worn just about anywhere. It can be worn at doctor’s offices, school pick up, grocery stores, the park and lots of more places! One of the perks of biker shorts is they go with all t-shirts. You can pick a band tee for a more spunky vibe, or a graphic print pastel tee for a more softer look. Not only does the baseball cap come in handy when it is not hair wash day but it also ties the look together flawlessly.
